Performing at high levels and working hard to improve your ability is not easy. Practices can be long and hard. Competitions can be wearing on the body, mind and spirit. When you feel yourself becoming weak and feel as though you want to give up, that it’s just to hard to continue, reflect on the verses below.
“He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; He offers strength to the weak. Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up. But those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:29-31
“For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.”

Joshua 1:5
“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.”
Psalm 46:1
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He will make me as surefooted as a deer and bring me safely over the mountains.”
